The original 15S1 studs were available with several legacy surface finishes. Current standard replacement studs are manufactured from steel with a nickel-plated finish and use an N suffix.

The length number remains the same

What do the old 15F finish codes mean?
The final letters in the old part number identify the material and surface finish originally applied to the stud.
